Corten steel turns orange-brown over time. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, nickel and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outside air, the material is covered with a protective layer of rust. This natural layer of rust provides protection against further corrosion.

Important points to note:
Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt, so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause irregular stains.
Always place the fire table on a flat, stable surface.
Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process of the corten steel takes about 4-5 months, depending on the weather conditions. With our rust accelerator you can make your product rust faster.
Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rusting. Owatrol protects the material and ensures that it no longer gives off.
We do not recommend using Corten steel within 2 km of a coastline.
During the rusting process, rust water may come off the product.
The warranty will be void if you drill or grind the material in a manner not prescribed.
Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt from the product with tap water.
